1. Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If however you are not completely satisfied, you can return your product and we will either replace the product or refund you. This is subject to below terms. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way. If you receive a faulty product, please let customer service know within 24 hours from delivery.

Returns Policy Conditions

The product can only be returned if the following guidelines are followed:

  • You return the item within 14 days of purchased
  • The item is in its original saleable condition
  • With all original tags and any sewn labels still attached
  • In an unworn, unopened and unused state
  • In original packaging – the product must be returned with its original box

If you do not comply with these requirements, Bridal Wardrobe reserves the right to refuse an exchange or refund on change of mind items.

We regret that the following items cannot be returned due to hygienic reasons:

  • Hair accessories
  • Earrings

Items purchased in-store cannot be returned or refunded online.

We will collect the item from you at no charge. Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of an item that is not correctly packaged.

Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will refund you the purchase price within 8 days of return. Please note that refunds take 5-10 working days to reflect in your account

Footwear can be exchanged for a different size. This is subject to inspection that the item is unworn and subject to size availability. 

Bridesmaid and Flowergirl dresses are made according to size. It is your responsibility to ensure the correct size is ordered. If you receive the dress and the size is incorrect, we will be happy to supply the correct size, but the incorrect size cannot be returned and refunded, as we do not carry stock. Please make sure to use the size chart when ordering dresses. 

All products can be returned if they are faulty, not fit for their intended purchase or do not match the sample or description. These products need to be returned in their original packaging.

2. Delivery

The delivery fee is a flat rate of R100 country wide. Delivery can take 2-5 working days.

We use the services of The Courier Guy. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number. Please click on the following link to track your order once it has been shipped: Track

Once the order has been shipped, Bridal Wardrobe cannot be held liable for any delivery-related problems.

2.1. Collecting from stores

Items can also be collected from either Bridal Wardrobe in Melrose Arch or Lynwood Bridge at free of charge, should you decide to not have your parcel delivered.

3. Terms And Conditions

  1. No orders will be placed without full payment received and if your terms and conditions form are not signed.
  2. The price on the quote in inclusive of 15% VAT and are valid for 14 days
  3. Once the order has been placed, the bride cannot hold Bridal Wardrobe responsible for the chosen gown, gown colour or gown size.
  4. Please ensure that the relevant size charts are followed before placing your orders. Please measure yourself accurately and order the dress as per size chart and not as per usual clothing size.
  5. Regular order lead time for Flowergirl and Bridesmaid dresses are 4-6 weeks. A surcharge is applicable to all rush order on special request. Please contact Customer Service for any queries.

3.3. Faulty Products

We warrant that:

  1. a) the Product will be delivered undamaged in the quantities ordered; and
    b) the Product will conform with the manufacturer’s latest published instructions as set out on the Site or in our Product material at the time of your Order.

If you receive a faulty product, please let customer service know within 24 hours from delivery.

We try very hard to deliver Products in excellent condition. However, if you tell us that the Product is faulty, you agree to keep the Product in its current condition available for us (or our agent) to inspect within a reasonable time.

3.4. Vouchers

You may use a Gift Voucher as payment for any products on the Site.

You may purchase Gift Vouchers for use on the Site by yourself or as a gift for another person. These Gift Vouchers will be sent to you via email.

To redeem Gift Vouchers in your Account or check an existing credit, please visit “My User Account” on the Site.

If you have a Gift Voucher, that Gift Voucher can be used by someone other than you and you

Gift Vouchers cannot be used to purchase other Gift Vouchers.

Gift vouchers are not refundable for cash once purchased.

The credit of a Gift Voucher does not accrue interest nor does it have a cash value.

If the credit of a Gift Voucher is insufficient for the Order you wish to make, you may make up the difference through other payment methods.

3.5. Circumstances beyond our control (force majeur clause)

We shall not be liable to you for any breach, hindrance or delay in the performance of a Contract attributable to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation any natural disaster and unavoidable incident, actions of third parties (including without limitation hackers, suppliers, governments, quasi-governmental, supra-national or local authorities), insurrection, riot, civil commotion, war, hostilities, warlike operations, national emergencies, terrorism, piracy, arrests, restraints or detainments of any competent authority, strikes or combinations or lock-out of workmen, epidemic, fire, explosion, storm, flood, drought, weather conditions, earthquake, natural disaster, accident, mechanical breakdown, third party software, failure or problems with public utility supplies (including electrical, telecoms or Internet failure), shortage of or inability to obtain supplies, materials, equipment or transportation (“Event of Force Majeure”), regardless of whether the circumstances in question could have been foreseen.

3.6. Amendment to the General Business Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be posted on-line. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied with the amendments. Should you not be satisfied with the amendments, you must refrain from placing any further orders on, or from using it in any way, the Site as continued use of the Site will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
